A deadline for Repentance?

My old student from VFBA gave me an article “Is there a Deadline for Repentance?” In that article, there is a tagalog version of Proverbs: “Magsisi ka man sa huli walang mangyayari.” – It’s like you’re in a life and death situation, your very last breath and asking for God’s forgiveness but it’s too late to repent.
Everyone commit mistake, so no one is excuse if we are talking about going to heaven after death and we cannot come closer to God if we had a sinful heart.

Isaiah 59:2
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

Romans 3:23
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Why Jesus came to earth 2000 years ago? What’s his purpose staying here for 30years of his life?
Jesus came here for us, to save us from the fires of hell. He demonstrated a genuine kind of love, a love which all of us still can’t fathom. The unconditional love, even you committed many kinds of sin and you repent with all your heart God is there to forgive.

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Wow, imagine, you asked for forgiveness and God forgave you - then you will be clean as white as snow. Amazing!!
And that is why Jesus stayed here for 30years preaching the gospel and be a model in demonstrating a kind of love that we should also be doing. And most of all, he died for our sin so that everyone must save and have eternal life. This tagalog proverbs – repentance is nothing like a trash for those who repent late. This is far away from the bible I read in which Jesus did not died for nothing. God’s love will always prevail; forgiveness is for everyone no matter how you sinned against him, if you ask for forgiveness with a pure heart- God forgive.
