Got sick :-(

I was not able to write for almost a week now because I got sick. Last April 12, I experienced back pain. I can’t move and if I’m taking a deep breath there is a sharp shooting pain on my back. I took naproxen sodium (Skelan) to relieve the pain.  I rest for the whole weekend and I thank my husband that he does the laundry for me.   At this moment no more back pain, Thank God. But now I’m suffering from cough and colds for almost 4 days.  So hard for me because I have my work needs to come to school to teach. The weather here is really really hot. I work 8 hours with fully air-conditioned rooms. When I go out from work and travel to our house you know the sudden changes that your body feels, the heat of the sun and the air that blows to your face was also hot. Wow! I can’t take this any longer. So Hoping to feel better soon.

Ice cream please!

Heat of the summer is now beating here in the Philippines. We don’t have trees in our backyard that is why our house is directly heated by the sun. Around 2 - 4 o’clock in the afternoon is the hottest. All electric fans are open to lessen the heat though, the air that blows on it is still hot. You need to take a bath once in a while and drink lots of water to keep you hydrated.  A simple and the cheapest why of chilling up to beat the heat was to eat ice cream. Good thing that here in our subdivision there is an ice cream vendor. (they sell ice cream by moving around from place to place with their bell. Bell is used as a sign of signal to people that they are already near your place). They have flavors to choose from like chocolate, ube and vanilla flavors.

We bought it for  as low as 20 pesos/1 glass.

It tastes good as well. We Love it!!!

Sweet :-)

A simple present from my hubby. He handed it to me yesterday when he came home from work.

Soooo  Sweet!

My college I.D's

It’s nice that I still have my I.D’S after I graduated from college. It’s my attitude of keeping my personal things intact after so many years.

MOVING UP CEREMONY

After 10 months of hard work in school, doing quarterly exams and school programs like Linggo ng Wika, United Nations, Christmas Party, Fieldtrip and now Moving up Ceremony. It’s time to recognize all the students who gave their very best in school. Academic awards such as Best in English, Best in Mathematics, Best in Science, Best in Writing and Best in Filipino are given to those students who deserved it. As we call their name, they’ll come up on stage to receive their medal. Before the program end, the student entertained their parents by showing their skills through sing and dance.

Planning and preparation for the program was hard. But it’s all worth it.

 Teachers!!

 Cheers!!
